Extension connects you to university-backed research and community resources.
100 years and counting…
In 2014, we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Smith-Lever Act, which established the Cooperative Extension Service.
The result of a unique educational partnership between the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the nation’s land-grant universities, Extension engages people, organizations and communities through programs to advance knowledge, economic well-being and quality of life by fostering inquiry, learning, and the application of research.
Join us as we celebrate Extension’s past contributions and look forward to the next 100 years of service. To learn more, click here.
