Washington State: Michael R. Bush

Michael R. Bush, Ph.D. serves as an Associate Professor with Washington State University Extension and has worked out of the Yakima County office since 1998.  Dr. Bush’s area of expertise is entomology with training in pomology, weed sciences and environmental toxicology.  Bush’s Extension programs deal with exotic crop pests, tree fruit pest management, landscape horticulture and insect diagnostics.  Mike’s favorite outreach service is to the Master Gardener Program of Washington State.

Western Region Extension Professional Development Conference (click for photo gallery)

September 23-24, 2015; Anchorage, Alaska!

The NACAA Western Region Professional Improvement Conference was September 23 & 24 at the BP Energy Center in Anchorage, Alaska.

The conference provided opportunities for members to give presentations and posters.  The conference also included a day of tours with visits to the Matanuska Glacier, Muskox Farm, Reindeer and included  an Alaska grown arctic burger lunch.
